Carvings with Stories  

‘Carvings with Stories’ is a publication which explores how trade matters. This project looks ar wood carving as a form of storytelling - where material, production, and time hold meaning. A massive thank you to Allistair Park who invited me to his workshop for a chat and tour. With his knowledge and personal stories, as a full time wood carver, it helped me with the direction of this publication

The wooden cover is cut and varnished myself at UWE Bower Ashton campus. Along side the print and production of this publication - purchased the paper stock at Bower Ashton and printed at Arnolfini. Similarly, I have taken the time to capture and design all images / diagrams / illustrations included using Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / Indesign to curate the final design.
